Overview:
As an Associate Security Analyst, you will support the Security team in monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security events across the organization. You’ll help ensure the safety of our digital environment by assisting with threat detection and incident response, while gaining hands-on experience with industry-leading security tools and technologies.
About Center of Excellence:
HealthEdge’s Centers of Excellence (COE) are dedicated to providing expert support across critical areas like IT, HR, Legal, and Finance. As part of the IT COE, you’ll work alongside experienced security professionals in protecting our systems and enabling secure growth across the organization.
Your Impact:
Monitor security alerts and assist in triaging suspicious activity using our Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools.
Collaborate with senior analysts to investigate potential threats and support incident response efforts.
Participate in regular threat hunting and vulnerability review exercises to identify and mitigate risks.
Support day-to-day operations of security tools like Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), email security, and access management systems.
Help document and maintain security processes, procedures, and playbooks.
Assist in gathering data for audits and compliance reporting as needed.
Learn and apply industry best practices in cybersecurity, with mentorship from more experienced team members.
Stay up to date on current cyber threats and emerging security technologies.
Qualifications
0–2 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT-related fields (internships, projects, or certifications are a plus).
Familiarity with basic security concepts such as threat detection, malware, phishing, and incident response.
Exposure to SIEM, EDR, or other security tools (academic or hands-on experience is helpful).
Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced security environment.
Basic understanding of networking and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a problem-solving mindset.
Good communication skills and a collaborative approach to working in teams.

**The annual US base salary range for this position is $77,000 to $82,000. This salary range may cover multiple career levels at HealthEdge. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process and is based on a combination of factors including, but not limited to, your skills, experience, qualifications and education.
