Cash & Bank Lead

CASH & BANK LEAD: 

The C&B Lead will play a critical role in managing the treasury and cash & bank function under finance and accounting organization. He / She will be responsible to manage the relationships with banking partners locally and should ensure all the bank transactions are accounted in timely and correctly manner and drive automations in postings and payments. He / She will also be responsible to be compliant with applicable FEMA regulations. 

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Manage integration and automatic postings of MT940 bank statements to ERP & manual bank statement posting to ERP where MT940 integration is not possible. 
• Timely reconciliations of bank accounts and clearing of open / uncleared items. 
• Preparation and monitoring of payment transfers and work towards resolving errors if any. 
• Outbound and Inbound payment processing 
• Manage intercompany clearing process (TBC) 
• Answering any queries external and internal stakeholders 
• Manage Relationship with local banking partners and connect with other bank partners for resolving the issues. 
• Taking part in month-end closing process 
• Ensuring SLAs and KPIs targets are met, and necessary actions are discussed and implemented to improvise SLAs / KPIs.  
• Cross-functional collaboration with other finance and non-finance team. 
• Preparing reports and analysis 
• Assuring process compliance with corporate policies and regulatory guidelines 
• Inter/Co Netting Off of Receivable & Payable and manage the double posting between the  
• Manage cash pooling of balances to central treasury accounts. 
• Manage funding to subsidiary accounts based on cash forecast 
• Ensure compliance with applicable Government and FEMA regulations. 

KEY COMPETENCIES: 

Professional experience in the field of accounting / bookkeeping with specialization in the field of Cash & Bank and Treasury operations. Should have minimum of 6-8 years of experience in managing the treasury and Cash & bank team. 

• University degree in Finance or Accounting 
• Very good command of spoken and written English 
• Good knowledge of accounting systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle etc.) 
• Good knowledge of MS Office 
• Methodical approach to work with a strong focus on accuracy, attention to details, consistency and quality 
• Able to demonstrate excellent customer/client facing skills 
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills, can clearly explain and present problems and issues to others and contribute to their resolution 
• Should be a strong team member and keep the team motivation high and attrition rate low.
