Job Summary:
The Clinical Analyst Intern is an entry-level position designed for recent graduates seeking to build a foundation in clinical analysis within the US Healthcare domain. During this internship, the Clinical Analyst Intern will be introduced to core concepts such as assessment creation, clinical guideline research, and US Healthcare regulations including NCQA, HEDIS, CMS, HCC Rules, and CDPS Risk Scoring. This role offers hands-on exposure to real-world clinical operations and serves as a steppingstone toward a full-time Clinical Analyst role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Assist in the creation, formation, and review of clinical assessments under supervision
•Develop foundational knowledge of US Healthcare regulations including HEDIS, CDPS, HCC Condition Rules, and clinical guideline research
•Support the team in analyzing clinical data and contributing meaningful insights
•Assist in the documentation and development of Business Requirement Documents, CDPS Upgrades, HCC Condition Reviews, and other assigned tasks
•Actively participate in training sessions and independently pursue learning opportunities relevant to the role
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing clinical projects and initiatives
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Life Sciences, Nursing, or equivalent clinical discipline)
•Clinical exposure through academic coursework, internships, or hands-on experience is required
•Knowledge of US Healthcare regulations or operations is a plus; a willingness and eagerness to learn is a requirement
•Proficient in speaking and writing in English
