Payroll Analyst - APAC

About the Role:
HealthEdge is expanding its Global Payroll team! We are seeking a Payroll Analyst – APAC to support India and the Philippines. This role will be responsible for end‑to‑end payroll processing for India and Philippines employee populations, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll delivery. The role requires strong knowledge of statutory regulations, audit controls, payroll reconciliations, and cross‑functional collaboration with HR, Finance, and third‑party payroll vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing & Operations
- Manage end‑to‑end payroll for India and Philippines, including inputs, validations, processing, and post‑payroll activities.
- Review and verify inputs such as new hires, exits, transfers, bonuses, overtime, and allowances.
- Coordinate with external payroll vendors for smooth data exchange and issue resolution.
- Perform detailed payroll reconciliations and variance analysis before final sign‑off.
- Ensure timely distribution of payslips, payroll reports, and bank files.
- Address payroll queries from employees through ticketing systems or email.
- Coordinate with banking partners for salary disbursements and related queries.
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other teams for seamless issue resolution.
- Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations for India (PF, ESI, PT, LWF, Income Tax, Gratuity) and Philippines (SSS, PhilHealth, HDMF/Pag‑IBIG, BIR).
- Stay updated with legislative changes and apply them accurately to payroll.
- Manage statutory filings and returns as required.
- Maintain strong payroll controls and documentation.
- Ensure payroll data integrity and adherence to data‑privacy guidelines.

- Strong knowledge of payroll in APAC, including India & Philippines.
- Expertise in end-to-end payroll processes and internal control concepts.
- Ability to assess business process changes and provide strategic input.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with internal and external teams.
- Ability to work independently and across multiple time zones.
- Highly analytical, accurate, detail-oriented, and proactive.
- Comfortable managing ambiguity, risk, and change.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 6–8 years of hands-on payroll experience, with Mandatory exposure to India and Philippines payroll.
- Experience with GreytHR, Mynd; Workday or other HR systems is a plus.
- Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills; ability to handle large datasets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English required.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines.
- Quick learner, adaptable, and able to prioritize multiple deadlines.
