About Global Professional Services:  

Our Global Professional Services team supports customer-funded service delivery initiatives separate from standard SaaS license support activities. Examples include customer implementations, business expansion, and optimization initiatives. 

 

The Release Manager will work within the Global Professional Services team and our clients to:

 

  • Orchestratemanage deployments and technical integrations for planned or unplanned environment changes such as software application upgrades/installs, 3rd party applications and integrationsetc.  
  • Orchestrate and manage setting up of new environments for Health Rules Payor and integrations for new implementation projects 
  • Conduct and oversee OS patching activities for all our payor implementation customers 
  • Key advisor to our clients on Combined Environment Management Strategy for HealthEdge products 
  • Leverage AI tools to streamline delivery processes and stay abreast of emerging AI technologies to enhance operational efficiency. 
  • Manage or create Salesforce, Service Now, Jira tickets for various scenarios per the Change Management processes 
  • Key Focus Areas for this role  
  • Deployment Management – Orchestrate deployments 
  • Change Management – Enforce CM processes established 
  • Environment Management – Ensure Environments are in a last known good state 
  • Implementation Management  Payor implementation & integrations 

  

Your impact:

  • Deployment Management  
  • Manage end-to-end logistics of deployments to environments 
  • Ticket – Create/Assist 
  • Schedule with Operations including attending CAB meetings, if applicable 
  • Orchestrate the deployment 
  • Manage Customer Communications related to environments.  
  • Customer Onboarding to HealthEdge deployment processes  
  • Onboard the customer  
  • Release Management 
  • Advise and assist the customer with adopting the best release  
  • Manage end-to-end logistics for upgrades 
  • Environment Management  
  • Ensure the environment is in a last well-known good state  
  • Leverage appropriate technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve environmental issues.  

 

What You Bring: 

    • Deployment Management  
    • The ability to effectively communicate and coordinate between multiple teams including Infrastructure, Support, On-Call, Development, QA, SMEs, architects, and business stakeholders as well as with client teams.  
    • A focus on zero/minimum-error software delivery scenarios 
    • Hands-on experience with fast fixes for software applications and the ability to seek alternatives in case of deploy/code failures. 
    • Knowledge of both legacy releases and release management processes using current trends and tools in the industry including DevOps and CI/CD. 
    • A working knowledge Salesforce, Service Now, ELK, Git Hubcode packaging, Jira, 
    • Change Management  
    • Solid functional and technical experience with Release and Change Management processes, including configuring environments for application migration.  
    • An in-depth understanding of ITIL/ITSM practices and solutions development from the drawing board to production delivery 
    • Environment Management  
    • Experience with troubleshooting scenarios in production environments hosted in Linux OS to ensure the environments are restored to the last known good state 
    • Prior experience with disaster recovery exercises between data centers involving applications as well as database servers.  
    • Qualifications  
    • Must-haves  
    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or similar discipline or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Master’s degree in computer science or MBA in related technology preferred.  
    • Emotional Quotient Expected: Can do attitude along with self-awareness and motivation to constantly learn and improve. 
    • At least 7 years of technical software implementation experience including set up of environments for application migrations. 
    • Solid understanding of Release & Change Management processes  
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - self-starter who can dive into complex projects and take it forward with minimal supervision 
    • Experience working with Linux server environmentsenterprise collaboration applications, network technologies 
    • Strong focus on customer service 
    • Experience working with Web Applications, Databases and Web Services (Any technology). 
    • Nice-to-have 
    • Experience with HealthCare Payor Implementation (replacement or new) for any line of business (Medicare, Medicaid, etc.)

Geographic Responsibility: While HealthEdge is located in Burlington, MA you may live anywhere in the US but east coast hours are preferred.

**The annual US base salary range for this position is $110,000 to $120,000. This salary range may cover multiple career levels at HealthEdge. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process and is based on a combination of factors including, but not limited to, your skills, experience, qualifications and education.
