Position Overview:
The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of the HealthRules software solutions and its configuration, interfaces, upgrades, and enhancements. In this role, you will be responsible for developing an outstanding client-based relationship and will ensure a track record of on-time, on-budget projects that align with project plans and company objectives.
Using a defined project management methodology, the Project Manager is a hands-on leader who will manage all aspects of the delivery of the HealthRules product suite. This person will directly manage a team of technical resources who are responsible for systems integration and conversion tasks and business resources who are responsible for gathering requirements, designing the product configuration, and configuring the product using the HealthRules Language (HRL).
About Global Professional Services:
Our Global Professional Services team supports customer-funded service delivery initiatives separate from standard SaaS license support activities. Examples include customer implementations, business expansion, and optimization initiatives.
Your Impact:
- Lead and directly manage a team of client facing resources in the delivery of project-based activities to deliver the HealthEdge products and solutions.
- Create and maintain detailed project schedules, including all tasks, key milestones, named resources, predecessors, and critical paths. Continuously optimize schedules to identify potential delays and take proactive measures.
- Provide timely and consistent project status updates and executive summaries, ensuring clarity and adherence to guidelines for determining project health status.
- Efficiently manage resources to ensure optimal allocation and utilization, preventing overallocation or under-utilization of team members.
- Follow established PMO processes for stabilization, go live readiness, and transition to support, ensuring all associated deliverables are met.
- Review, analyze and approve timesheets by established deadline, encouraging team compliance and addressing discrepancies promptly.
- Provide accurate forecasts in OpenAir or similar tools, ensuring precise budget management and optimal resource allocation.
- Maintain meticulous records and documentation, leveraging Project Management Information Systems such as “SmartSheet Hub” to enhance transparency and visibility
and audit readiness across all project stakeholders.
- Leverage project delivery platforms -such as Smartsheet, OpenAir, and Confluence- to maintain accurate project schedules, dashboards, RAID logs, forecasts, and financials, producing executive-level dashboards and client-ready documentation that support transparency and effective project execution.
- Apply project management methodologies to create detailed project plans, manage resource allocations, and maintain accurate excel budget and financial forecasts Maintain direct control over project planning. Must be able to set up project success measures to build the proper foundation that will be a stepping-stone to project success.
- Ensure stakeholders are updated on project progress, risks, and milestones. Preparing and delivering regular status reports to management and stakeholders.
- Play a key role in the client relationship management continuum and handle a wide range of communication and escalations that demand a high degree of diplomacy, discretion, insight, and judgment.
- Act as a liaison between various internal organizations (Marketing, Finance, Product Management, etc.) for project-based continuity.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Perform all job functions consistent with HealthEdge's policies and procedures, including those which govern handling PHI and PII.
What You Bring:
- BA/BS degree in related field and over 8 years of experience managing large scale, enterprise-class, billable, software delivery-based projects to external clients.
- Proven experience in project management, with a strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Excellent planning, scheduling, risk management, and resource allocation skills.
- Ability to grasp complex project requirements and translate them into actionable plans.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise status updates.
- Proficiency in using project management software, such as OpenAir.
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and financials accurately.
- Experience in time sheet management and analysis.
- Must have healthcare industry and HealthCare Payor and/or Care Management software implementation experience.
- Experience managing teams of 8+ resources with billable work of at least $1M.
- Ability to travel as needed (25% or less)
- Experience working within the healthcare domain on the payer side, including vendor/client facing responsibilities.
- Experience managing projects using the Scrum Agile software development framework.
- Knowledge of healthcare industry business practices and value offerings.
- Candidates should have a general understanding of Case Management, Disease Management, Wellness and/or Utilization Management.
- Candidates should have a general understanding of healthcare payor workflows including claims processing, benefits configuration, member enrollment, correspondence, medical management, and provider contracting.
- Experience working as a project manager implementing enterprise software applications.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.

**The annual US base salary range for this position is $67,000 to $91,000. This salary range may cover multiple career levels at HealthEdge. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process and is based on a combination of factors including, but not limited to, your skills, experience, qualifications and education.
