Position Overview:   

We are looking for a Senior Manager, Product Management to join HealthEdge. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Product Management, this role will focus on managing key product areas, driving execution of the product roadmap, and ensuring high-quality delivery in alignment with customer and business needs.  

The Product  
With HealthRules Payer, our integrated solutions suite includes the industry's leading, digital, next-generation claims administration processing system, business intelligence, integration capabilities, a unique to industry configuration and promotion application, and home and host processing support available on both public and private clouds. Your Impact: 

Product Strategy & Roadmap Delivery 

  • Contribute to and execute the product strategy in alignment with business priorities. 
  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable roadmap initiatives and release plans. 
  • Partner with customers, engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to ensure timely delivery and alignment to customer needs. 
  • Support build/buy/partner evaluations through analysis, research, and cross-functional collaboration. 
  • Monitor key product and client metrics to inform prioritization and iterative improvements. 

 

Product Management Excellence 

  • Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, including discovery, requirements definition, and release execution. 
  • Conduct market and competitive research to identify customer needs and opportunities. 
  • Drive backlog prioritization balancing customer value, technical complexity, and regulatory requirements. 
  • Define clear feature requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. 

 

 

Healthcare Payer Domain Knowledge 

  • Apply practical knowledge of payer operations including claims processing, member enrollment, provider management, and care workflows. 
  • Understand relevant regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, ACA, CMS) and how they affect product functionality. 
  • Support discussions involving interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7, X12) and data exchange requirements. 
  • Engage with customers and internal SMEs to gather insights and validate priorities. 

 

Team Leadership Collaboration 

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a small product management team  
  • Promote product management best practices, consistent processes, and strong execution discipline. 
  • Partner with go-to-market, customer success, implementation, and support teams to ensure smooth product rollout and customer adoption. 
  • Collaborate with design teams to support strong user experience and usability. 
  • Communicate status updates, risks, and decisions to product leadership and cross-functional partners. 

 

What You Bring: 

  • 8+ years of Product Management experience with a strong background as a Product Manager at an organization delivering SaaS. Healthcare industry experience is preferred. 
  • 4+ years’ experience in a leadership role  
  • Experience in healthcare payer, health plan operations, or healthcare technology preferred. 
  • Strong experience translating product strategy into executable requirements. 
  • Knowledge of healthcare payer workflows and regulatory considerations. 
  • Experience working with agile development teams and product management tools. 
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, design, and business functions.

**The annual US base salary range for this position is $141,000 to $222,000. This salary range may cover multiple career levels at HealthEdge. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process and is based on a combination of factors including, but not limited to, your skills, experience, qualifications and education.
