Position Overview:
The Release Coordinator will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of application releases within HealthEdge. The Release Coordinator will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely and successful launch of applications, manage release schedules, assist with continuous improvement for end-to-end release processes, and communicate release status to stakeholders. They will review the application releases throughout their life cycle and identify any issues that would impact operational readiness of the application.

Your Impact:
- Collaborate with product managers, development teams, quality assurance, and other stakeholders to plan and coordinate application releases.
- Develop and maintain release schedules, including milestone dates, deliverables, and dependencies.
- Coordinate release activities, including scheduling meetings, preparing release documentation, and tracking action items.
- Communicate release status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including senior leadership, product teams, and other relevant parties.
- Facilitate release readiness reviews and post-release retrospectives to identify areas for improvement and best practices.
- Ensure adherence to release management processes and standards, including change control procedures and version control.
- Coordinate with external vendors or partners as needed to support release activities or integrate third-party components.
- Provide support and guidance to teams on release management best practices, tools, and techniques.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate release processes and tools to identify opportunities for automation, efficiency improvements, and scalability.
- Serve as a point of contact for release-related inquiries and escalations, providing timely responses and resolution of issues.
- Maintain Release Management artifact repositories.
- Coordinate all FastFix/Hotfix release requests, obtaining approvals and managing deployment dates.
What You Bring:
- Three (3) or more years’ experience in release management, project coordination, or similar roles in a SaaS environment.
- Experience with release management tools and automation frameworks
- Minimum high school diploma required, Associate’s or higher-level degree preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficiency in project management tools, such as JIRA, Confluence, Trello, or Asana, and familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, agile principles, and release management best practices.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to independently problem solve and reach resolutions to issues and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of release management and software delivery.
Geographic Responsibility: While this role is based out of our office in Burlington, MA, you may live anywhere in the U.S.
