Position Overview: 

Our company is seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team to provide technical expertise in developing, deploying, and maintaining our software applications on our cloud platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in AWS cloud technologies, Infrastructure-as-Code, CI/CD, and Kubernetes. They will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between Development, Operations, and Infrastructure team members. The Senior DevOps Engineer’s primary responsibility would be to develop and maintain our build and deployment pipelines and continuously improve our containerized application delivery model. In addition to the above, the ideal candidate will have experience monitoring, troubleshooting, and providing on-call support in a cloud-native production environment.

Your Impact: 

• Implement and manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for multiple projects 

• Design and implement pipelines for Infrastructure-as-Code deployments 

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless development, testing, and deployment of software on AWS 

• Automate application tasks using scripting and configuration tools such as AWS CLI, Bash, Python, Terraform, and GitHub Actions. 

• Develop and optimize our Kubernetes Helm-based deployments and help expand our capabilities 

• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues related to application deployments and infrastructure on AWS 

• Participate in code reviews and provide technical expertise to team members 

What You Bring: 

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience 

• 5+ years of experience in software development, and/or automation on AWS 

• Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud, Kubernetes, and a major CI/CD platform such as GitHub or GitLab 

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash 

• Strong knowledge of AWS governance, management, and monitoring tools 

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills 

• Strong communication and collaboration skills 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as AWS CloudWatch, and Grafana 

• Knowledge of database administration and scaling techniques on AWS 

• Experience with agile development methodologies 

• Knowledge of software security principles and practices on AWS 

• Prior experience with Azure Cloud is a plus
