Overview

Position Summary:

HealthEdge’s People Team is seeking a seasoned Senior People Generalist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a proactive and knowledgeable professional with extensive experience in employee relations, compliance, immigration, and other HR functions. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to ensure the smooth execution of HR services and support for our rapidly growing organization. 

 

About Center of Excellence:

Centers of Excellence (COE) are teams whose primary goal is to provide expertise in a specific field. COEs will usually provide support through training, research, and skilled leaders. In the case of HealthEdge, our Centers of Excellence incorporate the Human Resources, IT, Legal and Financial fields, all of which provide support to our Product divisions and allows the enterprise to move forward and achieve its goals.

 

Your Impact: 

  • Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, ensuring timely and effective resolutions. Foster a positive work environment and culture by addressing issues promptly and equitably. 
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Stay abreast of legal updates and implement necessary changes in HR practices and policies. 
  • Immigration: Manage the immigration process and related documentation for foreign national employees, including visa applications (H-1B, L-1, etc.), renewals, and PERM labor certifications. 
  • Onboarding/Offboarding: Will be the back up support for all onboarding and offboarding activities.  
  • Performance Management: Help support the People Business Partners with the performance review process and work with management to create effective strategies for employee performance improvements. 
  • HR Projects: Support and participate in various HR projects such as HRIS implementation, policy revision, and workforce planning. 

What You Bring: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in human resources, with a solid background in employee relations. 
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations. 
  • Experience working in the software or technology industry is highly desirable. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 
  • Proven ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. 
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.
