Position Overview:   

The Senior Manager, Accounts Receivable will own the accounting for the customer intake, billing and collections functions within HealthEdge’s Finance and Accounting team.  

 

The Senior Manager, Accounts Receivable will strategically lead and own the accounting for customer intake, billing, and collections within HealthEdge’s Finance and Accounting team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of the organization. The Senior Manager will drive strategic initiatives, optimize processes, and lead a high-performing team to achieve organizational goals.

Centers of Excellence (COE) are teams whose primary goal is to provide expertise in a specific field. COEs will usually provide support through training, research, and skilled leaders. In the case of HealthEdge, our Centers of Excellence incorporate the Human Resources, IT, Legal and Financial fields, all of which provide support to our Product divisions and allows the enterprise to move forward and achieve its goals. 

 

Your Impact: 

  • Manage the entire Accounts Receivable process, including contract intake, invoice review, new customer onboarding, and collections, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. 
  • Work with tax department at customer intake to determine appropriate sales tax treatment ensuring compliance and accuracy 
  • Provide weekly forecast of cash collections, and resolution status of past due accounts, contributing to the company’s financial and planning stability 
  • Interpret new customer SOWs and amendments to track and apply appropriate billing  
  • Develop, implement, and maintain processes and procedures relating to Accounts Receivable, driving consistency and reliability 
  • Initiate and collaborate to drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and/or compliance within the Accounts Receivable function 
  • Proactively identify work automation opportunities to ensure scalability 
  • Serve as contact for the Company's external auditors and consultants to ensure compliance with accounting standards and Company policies 
  • Effectively manage and motivate a growing team (domestic and offshore), including job performance factors such as quality, efficiency, and teamwork to foster cooperation and improvement 
  • Assist in billing system implementation  
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances and environments. Embraces new challenges and is open to innovative solutions. 
  • Other duties as assigned 

 

What You Bring: 

  • 57 years of accounting experience; accounts receivable experience strongly preferred   
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting  
  • 5 or more years in a Lead or Manager/Supervisor role, demonstrating strong leadership and management capabilities   
  • Solid knowledge of general accounting principles and procedures 
  • Highly analytical and detail oriented with the ability to prioritize competing responsibilities effectively 
  • Excellent administrative, organizational, and communication skills to understand and address business and leadership needs 
  • Strong technical experience with advanced software skills including Microsoft Office Excel; NetSuite/Open Air preferred 
  • Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to interact with internal and external customers
