Overview

HealthEdge seeks a strategic and dynamic People Business Partner to join our India-based team. The People Business Partner will drive a high-performance culture by aligning people strategies with business goals. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking and tactical execution, as well as supporting and guiding business unit senior leadership. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with local and US-based People Business Partners and the global People team to ensure the consistent execution of our programs. 

Responsibilities: 

Strategic: 

  • Engage with management to develop and translate business strategies into talent management initiatives. 
  • Proactively provide workforce insights to help leaders identify and address blocks and leverage opportunities for high performance. 
  • Guide business leaders on organizational design to drive growth and support organizational health. 
  • Partner with managers on change initiatives focused on culture, leadership, and management transformation. 

 

Operational: 

  • Manage the data accuracy of your business unit in HRIS to preserve the source of truth. 
  • Actively utilize data to support feedback, coaching, and advice to enhance organizational success. 
  • Collaborate with core HR functions (Total Rewards, L&D, Talent Acquisition) to deliver solutions supporting business objectives. 

 

Tactical: 

  • Manage and resolve Employee Relations issues through practical and objective investigation processes. 
  • Support performance management as a talent-building mechanism to grow individual and organizational capabilities. 
  • Anticipate business needs and support managers in effective decision-making through research, benchmarking, and innovative methods. 

 

Skills and Knowledge: 

Required Skills: 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Effective pacing, prioritization, and sequencing of work. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment. 
  • Practical business acumen with an understanding of company financials, operations, markets, and customers. 

 

Preferred Skills: 

  • Experience in the healthcare or technology industry. 
  • HR Certification. 
  • Ability to work across multiple time zones in a hybrid work environment. 

 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 7 or more years of experience in human resources, focusing on talent management or business partnership. 
  • Customer-focused, organized, collaborative, analytical, flexible, proactive, resourceful, passionate, efficient, and accountable. 
  • High degree of integrity and honesty; ability to exercise confidentiality and neutrality in complex situations. 
  • Willingness to work at all levels of the HR “stack” – strategic, operational, and tactical. 

 

Working Conditions: 

  • Hybrid work environment with the ability to work across multiple time zones. 
  • Long periods of sitting and/or standing in front of a computer using video technology. 
  • Occasional travel (up to 10%).
