HealthEdge is building out a new program called "The Leading Edge" which is centered around new graduates (i.e May 2023 grads) entering the work force and looking to start their career with support, training and opportunity.  HealthEdge is leading a digitial revolution in Healthcare and it's an exciting time to join us.  As part of the HealthEdge Professional Services team, the Associate Business Consultant is a client-facing role which guides our customers through their implementation of our software. Team members entering the company through this Program are placed on a track which includes extensive product & business consulting curriculum as well as a dedicated mentor to help you grow your career.


 


Responsibilities include client relationship management, requirements gathering, definition, and system configuration design while working as part of a cohesive project team. The Consulting team supports projects through billable initiatives and works as an advisor to our customers through their implementation from requirements gathering to successful deployment.

  • 4-year bachelor’s degree with preferred concentration in Healthcare Administration, Business, or similar

  • Graduating in May 2023

  • Prior customer-facing experience and service-oriented nature

  • Strong ability to work with many people and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong business acumen and ability to be analytical

  • Strong desire to utilize personality and communication skills to engage & support clients

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • High Moral Character – Your natural disposition thinks, feels, and behaves in an ethical manner

  • Interest in learning about a consulting practice


    • Understanding revenue generating arm of a Professional Services organization

    • Exposure to Client software implementations

    • Learning about strategic relationship management with customers


  • Basic understanding of HIPPA compliance, PHI and PII

The Leading Edge program focuses on developing graduates of high character, strong business acumen, and raw talent into the Healthcare Business Professionals of the future.



  • Complete HealthRules product training bootcamp

  • Complete consulting and industry knowledge training

  • Gain on-the-job experience with supporting customers during their implementation


    • Assess the current state of the customer’s environment

    • Identify and track product gaps

    • Complete business specification stories including acceptance criteria

    • Assist in the preparation and delivery of training materials

    • Work closely to support project members and various project teams

    • Work closely with stakeholders (i.e. business unit personnel, business experts, other technical staff, vendors, and contractors) to understand and document business and system requirements

    • Responsible for post implementation support as needed including troubleshooting

    • Responsible for ensuring unique customer needs are properly translated into business terms and communicated across all applicable domains

    • Perform all job functions consistent with HealthEdge policies and procedures, including those which govern handling PHI and PII



 


Geographic Responsibility: anywhere in the US 


Type of Employment: Full-time, permanent


Travel%: 25 % travel for collaboration weeks, after year one could go up to 50%


FLSA Classification (USA Only): Exempt
