Release Deployment Coordinator

Overview:
The Release Deployment Coordinator will work with Onshore Professional Services teams to
- Orchestrate/support deployments for planned changes such as Database Refreshes, Application Upgrades, etc. executed by the Offshore Operations team
- Provide coverage for Environment Management in the off-business hours.
- Create tickets for various scenarios per the Change Management process.

- Deployment Management – Orchestrate deployments

- Environment Management – Ensure Environments are in a last known good state
- Implementation Management – Understand Payor implementation
What you will do:
- Deployment Management
- Manage end to end logistics of change management
- Ticket – Create/Assist
- Schedule with Operations including attending CAB meetings, if applicable
- Orchestrate the deployment
- Manage Customer Communications on customer’s environments.
- Customer Onboarding to HealthEdge deployment processes
- Release Management
- Help customer with adopting the best releases
- Manage end to end logistics for upgrades
- Environment Management
- Ensure the environments are in a last known good state
- Leverage appropriate teams to troubleshoot and resolve environmental issues.
What you will bring:
- Deployment Management
- The ability to effectively communicate and coordinate between multiple teams including Infrastructure, Support, On-Call, Development, QA, SMEs, architects, and business stakeholders as well as with client teams.
- A focus on a zero/minimum-error software delivery scenarios.
- Hands-on experience with hot fixes for software applications and the ability to seek alternatives in case of deploy/code failures.
- Knowledge of both legacy releases and release management processes using current trends and tools in the industry including DevOps and CI/CD.
- A working knowledge of Jenkins, configuration management database (CMDB), code packaging, Jira, Salesforce, ELK, Git Hub, AWS
- Change Management
- Solid functional and technical experience with Release and Change Management processes, including configuring environments for application migration.
- An in depth understanding of ITIL/ITSM practices and solutions development from the drawing board to production delivery
- Environment Management
- Experience with troubleshooting scenarios in production environments hosted in Linux OS to ensure the environments are restored to the last known good state.
- Prior experience with disaster recovery exercises between data centers involving applications as well as database servers.
- Qualifications
- Must-haves
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or similar discipline or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- Emotional Quotient Expected: Can do attitude along with self-awareness and motivation to constantly learn and improve.
- Atleast 5 years of technical software implementation experience including configuring environments for application migration.
- Solid understanding of Release & Change Management processes
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - self-starter who can dive into complex projects and take it forward with minimal supervision
- Experience working with Linux server environments, enterprise collaboration applications, network technologies.
- Strong focus on customer service
- Experience working with Web Applications, Databases and Web Services (Any technology).
- Nice-to-haves
- Design and develop solutions using Web, Database and Scripting technologies (Any technology).
- Experience with HealthCare Payor Implementation (replacement or new) for any line of business (Medicare, Medicaid, etc.)
