Position Overview:

The Resource Coordinator is responsible working with the project managers and functional leaders over each team to help assign and allocate resources to implementation projects.  The Resource Coordinator will be responsible for administrative processes that support our primary Professional Services practice which includes project implementation, agile services, and education services.  The Resource Coordinator will need to develop an understanding of the Demand (customer projects) for these resources and The Supply (how many resources we have available with the required skillset).   This role presents an opportunity to learn and understand the business drivers of Professional Services Consulting and how maximizing resource use and time can contribute to the revenue of the organization, as well as great exposure to project manager roles and business consultant roles. 

Your Impact:

  • Facilitate project staffing which includes collaborating with team leads to understand priorities, resolving staffing conflicts, aligning skills & experience to project needs

  • Track and understand the hours that resources are working; understanding their billable hours and the utilization targets associated with each role

  • Review and approve daily resource requests, and manage all active assignments

  • Provide support for timecard management and policy adherence

  • Assist in creating reports for finance and Professional Services Management

  • Serve as initial point of contact for assignment issues

  • Work with the Operations team on larger projects such as resource forecast reports and Finance team initiatives

  • Main point of contact for CRM(all the day-to-day activities of OpenAir)

  • Project creation and maintenance

  • Collaborate and work with the PMO initiatives

What you bring:

  • Demonstrated organizational skills

  • Minimum of 2 years professional experience

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent education/experience

  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills

  • Advanced analytical skills; an ability to study and interpret data

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Experience with a CRM system (bonus)
